Associational Missionary - John Baker
The associational missionary, John Baker, came to the Nine Mile Baptist Association in May 2004. John was born and raised in central Illinois near Macomb. He met his wife Cindy while a student at SIU. They have five children.
John received a B.S. from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and an M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, TX. and a D.Min. from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA.
John is available for pulpit supply, revivals, and teaching conferences. You may contact him through the contact page of this site.
John came to this Association after serving 18 years in Theological Education with the International Mission Board. He and his family served in Cote d'Ivoire (West Africa), Botswana and Zimbabwe (Southern Africa).
